Carmona hosted the II Carrera de Postas de Carmona on 24 October 2026. Organised by Carmona Town Council and the Real Club de Enganches de Andalucía, the event celebrated the sporting and cultural heritage of traditional carriage driving.
The competition combined a route through some of Carmona’s most iconic historic landmarks, including Puerta de Sevilla, the Mirador de Carmona, Plaza de Santiago and Puerta de Córdoba, with a timed section of approximately 11.5 km through the surrounding countryside.
The competition featured teams of two carriages per team competing in a relay format, with three PCs at the end of the route. The winners were the teams Alfardos (1st), Al Zahar-Yeguada 3 raices (2nd) and Écija-Alma Castiza (3rd).
