On 12 and 13 September 2026, the Circolo Ippico Campalto in Pisa, Italy, hosted the first CIAT “La Torre di Pisa”, organised by Gruppo Italiano Attacchi. Ten turnouts from Italy and Germany competed in three categories: single pony, single horse and horse pairs.

The competition followed the three traditional phases: Presentation, Routière and Maniabilité. The judging panel was made up of Enzo Calvi (Italy), Angeles Mata Lagomazzini (Spain) and Lester Dagge (United Kingdom).

At the prize-giving, Giuseppe Stefani (Italy) won the single horse category and Antonio Mottin (Italy) the single pony category. In the horse pairs, first place went to Paolo Fornara (Germany). The Best in Show award went to Domenico Bagnaschi (Italy).

Under brilliant sunshine, the competitors drove their phases with the Leaning Tower as a backdrop, making for a truly wonderful day. Warm thanks go to all the competitors, the judges and the staff who made this first edition possible.
